Last Updated: January 2024
Apex Realty is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all individuals, including residents of the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA). This page outlines how we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) when processing personal data of EU/EEA residents.
While Apex Realty is based in Singapore and primarily serves the Singapore property market, we may occasionally process data of EU/EEA residents who engage our services.
For the purposes of GDPR, Apex Realty acts as the data controller for personal data we collect. Our contact details are:

We process personal data of EU/EEA residents based on one or more of the following legal grounds:
If you are an EU/EEA resident, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
You have the right to request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how we process it.
You have the right to request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data we hold about you.
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances, such as when the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected.
You have the right to request that we limit the processing of your personal data in certain circumstances.
You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller.
You have the right to object to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing purposes.
Where processing is based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
As Apex Realty is based in Singapore, personal data of EU/EEA residents may be transferred to Singapore for processing. Singapore has been recognized by the European Commission as providing an adequate level of data protection.
Where we transfer data to other countries, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, such as standard contractual clauses or reliance on the recipient's participation in approved certification mechanisms.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, unless a longer retention period is required by law. For service-related data, retention typically corresponds to the duration of our business relationship plus applicable statutory periods.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures are regularly reviewed and updated as necessary.
While we are not required to appoint a Data Protection Officer under GDPR, we have designated a privacy contact to handle data protection matters:
Email: [email protected]
To exercise any of your GDPR rights, please contact us at [email protected]. We will respond to your request within one month. If your request is complex or we receive multiple requests, we may extend this period by two months, in which case we will notify you.
We may request verification of your identity before processing your request to ensure the security of your personal data.
If you believe that your data protection rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority in the EU/EEA member state of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
We may update this GDPR information from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
